Dining at the Shanghai EDITION is an expression of respect — for food, for design, for culture, for the community. Renowned British chef Jason Atherton is at the helm of the hotel’s dining experiences, which include eight distinct bars and restaurants, each with its own story to share. At Atherton’s Shanghai Tavern, the past and the present come together in both the space — an early 1900s Art Deco building — and on the plate, thanks to the chef's modern takes on European cuisine. History is also the inspiration for Canton Disco, named after the legendary Hong Kong nightclub known for its glamour and hedonism. The restaurant showcases Cantonese cuisine in an opulent, energetic setting with cocktails and music to match. On the 27th and 29th floors, HIYA and the ROOF are gathering places for the city’s scene-stealers. At HIYA, the elegance and simplicity of Japanese cuisine is paired with an extensive sake menu, and at the ROOF, innovative cocktails are served alongside a sweeping view.
