Renaissance Vendome
I recently hat a two nights stay at this hotel during a business trip in Paris. Location wise the hotel is great and the staff is friendly and helpful. I was disappointed with the room cleanliness though. Breakfast has limited options and the staff working there seemed a bit tired and not very helpful. I tried to book twice at Balagan restaurant but it was fully booked.

Great Location & Food, Average Hotel
Great location and amazing restaurant but does not live up to Renaissance standars.. You cannot beat the location, the price is what you can expect from a higher end boutique hotel in the area but there are less expesive options or other hotels with higher standards.

Don’t stay here.
Incredibly small rooms, poor temperature regulation in the shower (you WILL be scalded), “sexy” lady picture on bedroom ceiling, poor staff follow through, and horrendously overpriced. Turn down service only happened 2 of 4 nights. This was a sorry excuse for a self described 5 star hotel.
There are many other options for pleasant stays in Paris. This is NOT one of them.
Good points: fast WiFi, doormen are very helpful.

The hotel is on a nice quiet street, but is close to everything and surrounded by many designer boutiques. Great location for sight seeing and//or shopping. Do not bother eating at the hotel's restaurant (Balagan).

not a 5 star hotel beware
where to begin... bad room, many things broken, bad water pressure, clogging sinks, staff called my room at 5am for a taxi i never requested, cleaning staff leaves dirty items in room, didnt refresh coffee pods, and left front door WIDE open when we returned to the room (nothing stolen but upsetting). Staff was dismissive of most complaints and will "report to my colleague". bathroom had hair in the rub when we arrived. Concierge was nice but didnt respond to my requests before arriving to the hotel (asked to email some suggestions but never heard from them). Overall, not sure how this hotel is considered 5 stars.
