Star Appeal

Chef Norbert Tarayre’s journey to Restaurant & Bar 19.20 Paris at the Prince de Galles Hotel has been, as he professes, one of a ‘lucky accident’. Taken under the wing of iconic Chef Bernard Loiseau who imparted his wisdom in the art of French cooking, he went on to work with celebrated Chef Marc Veyrat and then Chef Roland Mazere. He supported Chef Mauro Colagreco as Sous Chef when achieving his first Michelin star in 2012. Chef Norbert became a household name in France when he made his TV debut in ‘Top Chef’, a programme he continued to feature on for the next ten years, sharing his gastronomic insights, served with comedic repartee. His goal now is to offer belle époque cuisine that is not only affordable but also highly accessible, all supported with strong, dynamic service. He brings his talent and soul to the kitchen where he rustles up perfectly executed bistro dishes, crafted using local produce, always served with a side of panache and honesty.
